These Terms of Service govern your use of Cover Me, a location-based personal safety app operated by Royal Promise LLC. Please read them carefully before creating an account.

Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using Cover Me, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who May Use Cover Me

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the app with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Not Legal Advice

Cover Me provides educational information about your rights and general safety tools. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Laws vary by state and change over time — consult a licensed attorney about your situation.

Not Emergency Services

Cover Me is not a substitute for 911 or emergency services. Emergency beacons depend on other users being nearby and available, and delivery is not guaranteed. In an emergency, always call 911 first.

Your Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your password secure. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions and Billing

Cover Me costs $4.99 per month per person, or $2.99 per month per person when three or more people join a team using your referral code. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time from Account Settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable Use

Do not submit false reports, harass other users, or use Cover Me to break the law. We may suspend accounts that misuse the community safety features.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the recordings, reports, and directives you create. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and deliver them as part of the service.

Warranties and Liability

Cover Me is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royal Promise LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes and Governing Law

We may update these terms, and material changes will be posted in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Royal Promise LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
